Diners who order from apps like Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub may have no idea that the restaurant doesn’t physically exist

There’s a great restaurant in Paris called Out Fry. Imagine my surprise when I showed up thinking I’d eat in for once and it was this tiny box with one Asian man and no restaurant. My bf told me these ghost kitchens or whatever they’re called was normal in London. I was not happy
Plenty of these in London and other cities here, mainly operate out of kitchen units on small industrial estates. They get inspected by food hygiene people same as any other restaurant. Had some great meals from my local Indian.
