Should black Americans who descended from slavery have their own ethnic category, separate from those who hail from abroad? My latest piece was probably the most polarizing subject that I have ever attempted to write about.

By assumption, it means blackness is no longer rooted in ancestry but colonial racism. This must be the most baffling sentiment ever. Black is black. Period

Foundational Black Americans are a distinct ethnic group. A Irish family canโ€™t move to Italian neighborhood and become Italian just by living there even though theyโ€™re catholic, because Irish culture and history is different from Italians.

When boarding an airplane, should some people be treated different, or be given different rights than others also on the plane? Keep in mind-everyone being the same! The idea of segregating people is disgusting. I'd rather belong to a race that doesn't see color - just ppl.

The opportunism by elite transplants is rampant in medical industry. Every position from Physician, residency programs, medical students, nurses at all levels. @fstockman nailed it.
